Christian J Hoey, Esquire, is the founding partner at Hoeylegal in Paoli, PA. Mr. Hoey graduated from Temple University in 1990 and from the Widener University School of Law in 1993. After several years with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant Prosecutor, Mr. Hoey spent the next five years litigating medical malpractice and complex personal injury cases throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and federal court for the Eastern/Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. Mr. Hoey limits his practice to the areas of criminal law (state and federal prosecutions) and complex personal injury litigation, medical malpractice claims and construction accident litigation.

Mr. Hoey’s experience in defending those accused of criminal offenses in the state and federal court systems is vast and comprehensive. He is a state certified death penalty trial attorney and has successfully defended death penalty cases in the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. He has represented members of large scale criminal enterprises in federal RICO prosecutions. He often appears in the Chester County Court of Common Pleas (West Chester, PA) on behalf of clients accused of the following crimes: robbery; homicide/murder; sexual assaults; rape; driving under the influence; drug violations; criminal fraud; grand jury proceedings; white collar crimes and criminal appeals. In addition to representing clients in criminal court, Mr. Hoey has collected millions of dollars in settlements and awards for personal injury clients. He maintains a full service personal injury practice with a staff of attorneys, paralegals and investigators that assist in his accident investigations.
